Aimee has spent her career at the intersection of building and clean energy. She got her start in construction before moving into solar in 2009, eventually rising to lead a residential solar company as CEO and owner. Over more than 15 years, she's guided teams and homeowners through every twist of the industry, from system design to sales to full-scale operations, always with an eye on making sustainable building more accessible. At Lumee Homes, Aimee brings that same blend of hands-on construction know-how and clean energy expertise to help create homes that are built smarter and better for the planet.
Luke Dembeck
COO and Co-Founder
Luke handles the operational side of Lumee Homes, where he applies a decade-plus of mass timber and prefab construction experience to a much more fun problem: how do you scale building houses without the whole operation falling apart? Before Lumee, Luke spent his career in the trenches of complex construction logistics; running point on everything from a 93,000-square-foot Atlanta office tower to one of the largest CLT residential deliveries in US history. His experience means he's intimately familiar with the gap between "great design" and "actually shows up on a truck, on time, in the right order." As COO, he's bringing that same obsession with process, procurement, and partnerships to building out the systems, supply chains, and teams that let Lumee grow without sacrificing the craft. He's spent his career proving that prefabricated construction doesn't have to mean compromised construction and now he's making sure that holds true at scale.
Marcos Lagaas
Head of Design and Co-Founder
Marcos leads design at Lumee Homes, guided by a simple philosophy: livability by design, precision by principle. With seven years in interior design, property management, and renovation through their company, Stay Cozier, Marcos has personally designed and managed renovations and interior projects, developing a sharp eye for how spaces actually get lived in and for materials that endure. That sensibility, sharpened through years in short-term rentals where comfort and functionality matter daily, now shapes every material, finish, and fixture choice at Lumee, ensuring each home is as warm to live in as it is well-built.
Daniel Siemens
Structural Engineer
Daniel leads structural engineering for Lumee Homes, bringing a specialist's eye for residential design and engineered prefabricated construction to every home. A Civil Engineering graduate of BCIT, Daniel built his foundation at a local Abbotsford firm designing custom homes, duplexes, and townhomes, including a full subdivision of duplexes he designed and coordinated from the ground up. He later sharpened his focus on advanced prefabricated building systems at one of North America's leading innovative firms, working directly with architects to translate design intent into structures that actually stand up, from initial concept through the temporary stability challenges of construction itself. As founder of Urban Edge Engineering, Daniel now applies that dual expertise, residential precision and prefab systems depth, to Lumee's steel-framed homes, always looking for the opportunity to cut costs without cutting corners.

Director of Business Development
Brenda leads business development at Lumee Homes with a passion for real estate, land development, and building lasting partnerships. A successful land developer and business strategist with more than 20 years of experience in sales and business development, she has built her career by identifying opportunities, cultivating strong relationships, and driving sustainable growth. Inspired by Lumee's forward thinking vision and the diverse expertise of its leadership team, Brenda is focused on expanding strategic partnerships and helping make innovative, high quality housing more accessible to communities across the country. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
